These Model Color paints are highly pigmented acrylic paints for model making in all areas, suitable for other hobby applications and adhere to all surfaces. The colours are mainly applied with a brush. The new formula provides outstanding coverage and excellent spreadability. The colours are fast drying and form a homogeneous and self-levelling film that brings out even the smallest details of the model. Bottles in a new design, transparent material made from recycled PET material. The complete stand for the model colour range. Equipped with 220 different Model-Color paints (6 pieces of 18 ml each), 8 metallic paints (6 pieces of 35 ml each) and 16 auxiliary solutions (6 pieces of 18 ml each) such as chipping effects, decal glaze or airbrush thinner. The lower section of the stand can also be extended with three additional shelves: With item 701529B1 for 17 ml bottles or with 701529B3 for 35 and 60 ml bottles. The stand can be retrofitted with wheels (EX722/GC-R/700722GCR).

Cleans and prepares the model surface before placing decals and wet transfers, improves adherence of the decal, and prevents formation of air bubbles without need for a previous coat of varnish. Apply Decal Fix with a soft brush on model surface, gently slide decal from its paper support and with a wet brush tip place decal on the model, pressing down lightly with the brush to eliminate excess liquid and avoid air bubbles. Remember the result depends on the quality of the brand of decals.

Protects and smoothes the decal so that it blends with the surface of the model. It also softens the decal to adapt it to surface details such as recessed lines, raised edges, screws or bolts. The amount of coats needed depends on the quality and thickness of the decal. Final varnish can be applied to the Decal if desired.
